Professional skier Kai Jones continues to prove that he's on the mend after a serious injury cut his season short last winter.

His latest video appearance is alongside fellow skier Sage Cattabriga-Alosa.

It features the dynamic duo doing what they do best: tearing up the slopes of Alyeska Resort, Alaska, in another episode of Cattabriga-Alosa's Let's Take A Lap! video series.

Jones and Cattabriga-Alosa were in town earlier this month for a Teton Gravity Research shoot. On their down days, they caught laps at Alyeska.

"Following Kai around was a blast, we had some chalky runs early in the trip and then on the last day we were in town, we awoke to a sunny pow day to cap it all off!" Cattabriga-Alosa wrote in the caption of his video.

Seeing Jones back in full form is a bit of a shock, as his aforementioned injury wasn't minor—far from it. In March of last year, while filming for another TGR project, Jones broke his legs and tore his medial and lateral meniscus after a crash in the Wyoming backcountry.

Jones spent the following nine weeks wheelchair-bound before moving to California and training at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center in Santa Monica.

His return to snow in December of this winter wasn't easy.

"I found it hard to love skiing and strive to ski every day when my body hurt to ski," Jones wrote in a recent Instagram post recapping his recovery process. "But like every adversity I faced, I kept moving forward."

The hard work, as evidenced by this video from Cattabriga-Alosa—and Jones' TGR shoot in Alaska—has paid off.
